Bhai Dooj 2021 – Date, time and story
Bhai Dooj, a celebration similar to Raksha Bandhan; honors the relationship between brothers and sisters. It occurs on Dwitiya Tithi, Kartik, and Shukla Paksha (the second day of the waxing phase of the Moon in Kartik month as per the Purnimant calendar). In most locations, Diwali celebrations end with Bhai Dooj, which is commonly incorporated as part of the five-day festival of lights. On this day, siblings gather for the customary ritual, along with some delicious feast to remember.
