The Navratri celebration is held twice a year. Chaitra Navratri is observed in April, and this year it will take place from April 2 to April 11, 2022. It is a joyful time, also known as Vasant Navratri, since this coincides with the springtime.
It is a prominent Hindu occasion that is commemorated with excitement and devotion. It is a nine-day ritual held to venerate the nine avatars of Goddess Durga. Fasts and nine-day pujas are observed by Hindu believers throughout India. The nine-day event commemorates the triumph of virtue over evil.

When is Chaitra Navratri 2022?

This year Chaitra Navratri will start from April 2 (Saturday) and go on till April 11 (Monday). The Ashtami will be observed on April 9, whereas Navami is falling on April 10.
