Devshayani Ekadashi, also known as Ashadhi Ekadashi, Padma Ekadashi, or Hari Shayani Ekadashi, is one of the most significant and auspicious days in the Hindu calendar. It falls on the 11th day (Ekadashi) of the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu month of Ashadha, typically occurring in June or July.

This day marks the beginning of the Chaturmas period, a four-month period during which Lord Vishnu is believed to enter a state of deep sleep (Yoga Nidra) on the cosmic ocean of milk, Kshirasagara. The period ends with Prabodhini Ekadashi, which falls in the month of Kartik (October or November).

The legend behind Devshayani Ekadashi is rooted in ancient Hindu scriptures. JAYA EKADASHI- 2023

On the day of Dwadashi, conduct Jagran in the name of Lord Hari and feed the underprivileged. Eat Satvik cuisine to stay away from difficulties.
