Trayodashi Tithi Starts- at 6:02 pm (Saturday 22 October 2022).

Trayodashi Tithi Ends- at 6:03 pm (Sunday 23 October 2022).

DHANTERAS: PUJA VIDHI

The style of worship during a Hindu religious process is referred to as Puja Vidhi. Devotees buy a variety of products, including domestic items such as cutlery and broomsticks. During the puja rites, such goods are subsequently presented to the deity Dhanvantari. For this occasion, people also buy gold and silver things like jewelry, coins, and bars.

DHANTERAS: SIGNIFICANCE

Dhanteras is commemorated for the well-being of one's family members or kin since Lord Dhanvantari is the deity of Ayurvedic medicine. Lord Dhanvantari is revered as the Healer of All Ails. According to Hindu legend, Lord Dhanvantari, a godly physician, came before the Devas and Asuras at Samudra Manthan. He possessed Amrita, or the elixir of immortality, as well as the Ayurvedic scripture.

Both the Devas and the Asuras desired the nectar to become eternal, which resulted in a battle between the two mythological factions. Garuda, typically represented as a big eagle-like bird or a half-human, half-bird monster, was the one who kept the nectar safe from the Asuras.
