Do not eat non vegetarian food, onion and garlic as this food comes under Tamsik food items which is prohibited on this sacred day.</p><p>3. Do not consume alcohol and cigarette on this day.</p><p>4. Ekadashi Parana is done after sunrise on next day of Ekadashi fast. It is necessary to do Parana within Dwadashi Tithi unless Dwadashi is over before sunrise.
